When it comes to fundraising, the sky is the limit! Even though, Vinnies holds the Winter and Christmas Appeals, there are so many ways you can get involved ….. the possibilities are endless!
Groups and individuals register and run their own events, so there’s stacks of room to make it your own. These events are not only about giving financial or material goods though – they’re also a time of reflection as a community about what’s important.

School Sleepouts
- Students, parents and teachers ‘sleep rough’ for one night
- Can be run anytime! (Usually in winter but not limited to it!)
- Raise money and awareness for Vinnies Services and Programs (you can raise funds for your local conference!)

- Uni, Parish or Community groups can run their own Sleepout.
- You can join the Vinnies NSW Community Sleepout 2024 State Campaign and raise funds for your local region. (Watch this space for more information!)

Winter Appeal
- Raise money and awareness for Vinnies Services and Program (you can raise funds for your local conference and you can register your event by clicking here!)
- Participants collect and donate money or food, blankets and warm clothes for Vinnies Services, Refuges and Food Vans.
- Schools can also participate in the Family Winter Sleepout @Home 2024 Date TBC.)

Christmas Appeal
- Raise money and awareness for Vinnies Services and Program (you can raise funds for your local conference and you can register your event by clicking here!)
- You can also collect various items such as toys, food and toiletries on behalf of Vinnies as well.
- Run during the months leading up to Christmas, usually beginning October.

- Anyone can raise funds for Vinnies and create their own fundraising events.
- You can be as creative as you want- no event is too big or too small, we love seeing what our fundraisers do.
